Dr. Rienzi is a licensed educational psychologist in the state of California. He has been working for children and families for over 25 years. Dr. Rienzi possesses a doctoral degree in educational psychology and a post-doctoral specialization in School Neuropsychology. For over 20 years, Dr. Rienzi has been a professor for school psychology graduate students. Dr. Rienzi has worked in/with public schools for 22 years. He has a deep passion for the CalWORKs program and his role in helping participants towards self-sufficiency. Dr. Rienzi has sat in over 4,000 special education meetings in his career. He has been there to support parents by conducting countless trainings and support groups in counties all over California. Teaching people about disabilities continues to be a deep passion for Dr. Rienzi.
Erin has managed Brain Learning since its inception. Erin carries out the vision of Brain Learning, ensuring that each and every contract is followed out to detail. She has been successful in procuring every contract that Brain Learning has bid on. She has a unique view on details. Erin ensures that each contract is upheld and satisfied, wile also having a deep passion for helping people with disabilities. Erin Like Dr. Haytasingh, Erin has a deep passion for our helping people. She studied Health Science in her undergraduate degree, which allows her to be hands-on with helping our participants navigate the social services/community systems of support. Erin enjoys collaborating with counties all over California, in order to develop unique contracts for support and services in the CalWORKs program. Erin listens to our partners and works closely to ensure our work is meaningful and effective.
Alexis has been helping families access Brain Learning's services for over 7 years. Alexis directs and manages our responsibilities to 11 counties and counting. She ensures that each client's experience is seamless and meaningful. Alexis has a deep care for children and families. She ensures that our Spanish speakers feel equally supported through the process regardless of how much English they know.
Taylor Rowe is a psychologist assistant, but you wouldn't know it. Taylor works with people every day to ensure they feel respected and dignified. She has an intuitive gift to listen and connect with children and adults across the state every day. Taylor ensures that each and every client feels dignified and respected. She also manages and organizes Brain Learning's growth and development. Taylor trains all employees ensuring that they truly understand the Brain Learning Mission.
Courtney has a gift for bringing wonderful light into an already lit room. She is actively engaged with each and every participant at Brain Learning. Courtney guides our participants through tough times to ensure they access our services. She works each day to ensure each participant has the opportunity to receive our services. Courtney works to ensure that data it collected to reflect our mission and goals with each county. She cares about people and cares about our mission.
Lizzy Savage Guedry Ed.S., NCSP is a school psychologist with a passion for ensuring students with differences and disabilities achieve success. She has over six years of experience working in schools in both California and Colorado. As a school psychologist, she has dedicated her work to advocating for students with learning differences and mental health concerns. She has worn a number of hats in the schools, including the Program Coordinator for Summit County Day Treatment program and Special Education Director of Thrive Public Schools. These experiences strengthened her drive for creating equitable learning environments by providing research based and student centered interventions.
Suzanne is a gifted educational psychologist who has worked with children in public schools before working at Brain Learning. She possesses a deep understanding of children, families, and the educational system. Today Suzanne works collaboratively with educators and families to build individualized educational programs. Suzanne's knowledge about the relationship between the brain and behavior is an asset to our mission of helping kids.
For Esmeralda, working with clients does not feel like work at all because she enjoys meeting and helping new clients every day. She has worked with the CalWORKs program for approximately seven years, during which time she earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology and her masters in human behavioral psychology. In her role as Vocational Evaluator in the Fresno Brain Learning Office, she provides participants the knowledge they need about how their brain works, to help them overcome their barriers. As a team leader, Esmeralda provides the guidance and expertise to the team with the goal of providing the best experience for every client that walks into our office.
Esmeralda feels privileged in her role in evaluating clients, and to help them feel welcomed and understood all while guiding participants towards self-sufficiency.
Stephanie is the heart of the Fresno office! She is our lead client scheduler and rock-star office manager. She keeps everyone in the Fresno office on track and on schedule. Originally from Los Angeles, Stephanie has lived in the Central Valley for over twenty years and loves to serve her community. Stephanie loves to help people, as is evidenced by her volunteer service at the Povarello House and other Fresno hunger outreach services. She is also passionate about the environment, volunteering with the Fresno High Environmental Club for city-wide clean-up. Stephanie loves working at Brain Learning, as she gets to learn from all the clients we serve.
Julissa Morga is our office data coordinator. Julissa ensures our participants get their evaluations started and completed in a very timely manner. Julissa keeps all our participants moving through the process helping ensure their experience is a positive and meaningful one.
Grant Haytasingh interacts with our participants every day, ensuring they understand the evaluation process. Grant provides answers to frequently asked questions and ensures the highest levels of accessibility for each participant, in all counties served. Grant's unique quantitative and reasoning skills allow Brain Learning to maximize each participant's experience while ensuring they successfully get through the process and achieve self-sufficiency.
Silvia is a dedicated and proactive individual with a solid foundation in counseling, psychology, and educational support. She joins our Fresno team in providing vocational, learning, and limited English proviciency assessments. Silvia has spent years helping CalWorks participants get back into the workforce through vocational assessments and vocational counseling. She has developed plans for the Department of Rehabilitation, Corkers Compensation, and Departments of Social Services.
We have learned that our clients have many barriers to accessing the LD assessment. We have created options for our clients, which include assessment remotely at home or in county facilities. We also allow our clients to test in our physical offices throughout California. Additionally, we help with transportation and snacks on the day of testing.
